The Deluxe Suite scored high with plentiful games and CDs, perfect for a cozy evening in. The ambience felt specially crafted to provide a delightful experience, which is rare out there.

The lack of carpeting in the rooms left an uncomfortable chill that wasn't ideal for a cold night. Heating only ran for a few hours, and the provided noisy fan under the bed didn’t help much. Plus, the privacy signs on doors made it awkward to get assistance. knocking felt strange.

Charming oasis near the lake

Stayed for 2 nights, and it was just perfect! The location is super convenient for exploring both Bowness and Windermere. My room had this amazing bay window where we relaxed with drinks, watching birds—so peaceful! Owners were super helpful and friendly. Their dog is adorable. Just wish there were more food options on-site.

Had a great time with friends! We loved hiking nearby and catching a show at Old Laundry Theatre. The place was spotless with an awesome breakfast selection. Perfect for start to our days. Highly recommend it!...  

Unique breakfast experience

The themed decor was charming, and enjoying a home-cooked breakfast in bed while overlooking the beautiful garden was a highlight of my stay.

Had a splendid stay with brekkie served right in our room, talk about a treat! The breakfast was a delightful spread and the four-poster bed? Pure bliss! Plus, Puddle Duck Lodge is right near fab spots like...  

The Superior Single Room boasts a unique decor that adds a personal touch to the stay. The location is ideal for exploring local attractions without needing a long trek.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the parking situation could be tricky for larger vehicles, given the small designated spaces. The heating in the room left something to be desired, as it struggled to warm up adequately during a particularly cold night. While a noisy heating fan was provided under the bed, it didn't do much to create a cozy atmosphere. The lack of availability from hosts for inquiries added an awkward layer to the experience, as I found myself having to knock on doors marked with 'private' for assistance.

The garden was breathtaking and the themed decor added a cozy, homey feel to our stay. We particularly loved the Beatrix Potter references throughout the room.

I loved my stay with the comfy bed and the cozy little hot chocolate setup in the room! Relaxing in the garden with a blanket and enjoying the sun terrace was just what I needed.
